LINNUKUU – BIRDS MONTH – MARCH
Linnukuu meaning “Birds month” refers to all the birds returning to our northern parallels from the south for the nesting period. It is the time when nature makes its first attempts to resurrect after being buried by a thick layer of snow - here and there you notice the first green leaves and spring flowers popping up and you can feel the diversity of smells intensifying.
The scent of Linnukuu starts from top notes of lime and bergamot combined with a heart of basil, clove and nutmeg. After a while your nose starts to sense a splendid mixture of vetiver, tonka, cedar and sandalwood. The fresh and green top notes are interacting with the warm base which creates a perfect imitation of the transition from winter to spring.
